Lo spazio e la realtà non sono più soltanto ciò che riusciamo a capire con i cinque sensi ma sono diventati supporti aumentabili da esperire con tutte le estensioni cognitive di cui disponiamo.
L’avvento della Realtà Aumentata è sicuramente uno dei passaggi della cultura contemporanea che più di tutti tende a conciliare tecnologia e realtà affrontando a viso scoperto il problema dell’identità dell’uomo e i cambiamenti della percezione del mondo.
La serie di fotografie Realtà aumentabile nasce da queste riflessioni e ha lo scopo di ri-osservare frammenti, atomi del reale. Vogliamo ri-portare parti significative della realtà in un contesto di osservazione puro, silenzioso ed intimo per permettere di concentrarsi sulla necessità ormai inevitabile di cercare con lo sguardo oltre le possibilità della vista.
Space and reality are no longer only what we are able to perceive with our five senses but they have also become an augmentable support to experience with all the cognitive extension we have at our disposal.
The introduction of Augmented Reality is certainly one of the passages of contemporary culture that more than ever tends to reconcile technology and reality, forwardly facing the problem of mankind’s identity and the changes in the perception of the world.
The photographic series of Augmented Reality originates from these reflections and its goal is to re-observe fragments, atoms of what is real. Our intention is to propose meaningful portions of reality in a context of pure observation, silent and intimate, in order to allow concentrating on the fact that there is an inevitable necessity of looking beyond the possibilities of sight.
